The University of Dodoma (UDOM) was formally established in March 2007 following the signing of the University Charter by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania. since 2007, UDOM has become one of the fast growing Universities in East and Southern Africa offering demand driven quality education. The University has been designed on a six (6) campus college, three (3) schools and two (2) institutes mode. In its structure, the colleges, schools and institutes include: College of Business and Economics, College of Earth Sciences and Engineering, College of Education, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Informatics and Virtual Education, College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, School of Law, School of Medicine and Dentistry, School of Nursing and Public Health, Institute of Development Studies and Confucius Institute.
